Although I'm a great believer in quality over quantity (unless it's a huge quantity of quality food), I decided to start this blog to document my attempts to try to get my husband and daughter to broaden their food horizons.
By day I work as a Business Analyst for an aerospace company. By night, I juggle being a mummy with doing as little housework is possible and finding time to bake and learn new cooking techniques. It's also an exploration of my own food habits - I've already learned that I'd rather eat good quality, well cooked meat once or twice a week than eat over-processed, intensively farmed stuff every day just because I can.
Along the way, it's also turned into a bit of a blog about the trials and tribulations of daily life. I find it quite cathartic to brain dump and it both pleases and amuses me that people take the time to read my random ramblings. I never really thought anyone would and I'm flattered that some people come back time and again.
In amongst all that, I do try to run but this is often precluded by time, injury and sheer laziness.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading my blog. I apologise for my tendency to waffle but hopefully you might find something interesting here. Definitely check out my Food Bloggers Unplugged post to find out a bit more about me and take a look at the blogs in my blog roll - they're all fabulous people :)
